Bowflex is a well-known name in the fitness industry and that has earned their reputation over the years. Recently, Bowflex consolidated their treadmill line to just two machines – the Treadmill 10 and the Treadmill 22. In the past, Bowflex was known for having solid machines, while lacking in the technology and user experience department. This isn’t the case with the two new treadmills they’ve been rolling out.
In their new launches, Bowflex has integrated their world class equipment with interactive fitness technology to make for an overall better treadmill experience than they have offered in the past. Although we are excited about the efforts from Bowflex to expand their features – when it comes down to it, we still recommend considering a NordicTrack or ProForm treadmill over this one. Keep reading and we’ll tell you why.
The Bowflex Treadmill 10 is currently priced at $1,999. For a similarly priced machine with better features, we suggest considering the NordicTrack Commercial 2450 Treadmill.

Similarly to Bowflex, NordicTrack is another big name in the fitness world that has been around for a very long time. When we last visited the NordicTrack headquarters in Utah, we were extremely impressed with their Commercial line of treadmills. These treadmill machines allow consumers to experience all the benefits of a commercial treadmill, while paying a residential price point. The 2450 Treadmill can withstand the toughest of workouts. This machine is a beast, with a 4.0 HP motor and a roomy 22 x 60 treadbelt. NordicTrack backs up this solid machine with a great warranty; 10-year frame, 2-year parts, 1-year labor. Here are some other features that impress us on the Commercial 2450.
Fitness Tracking – Bowflex offers a new fitness experience named “JRNY”. Although JRNY is an upgrade from not having any fitness tracking, we would suggest iFit over JRNY. iFit is an integrative digital fitness experience offered on all NordicTrack and ProForm machines, that allows for a completely personalized user experience. With iFit, you can enjoy features like…
Incline and Decline – Both the Treadmill 10 and the NordicTrack 2450 offer incline and decline capabilities, which will enhance your muscle involvement and calorie burn during your workouts.
Screen Size – The Treadmill 10 offers a 10′ console, while the NordicTrack 2450 offers a large 14′ Smart HD Touchscreen. This is one of the largest screens you will find on the market.
Flex Cushioning – For those who struggle with joint pain, NordicTrack’s Flex Cushioning belt is a game changer. This technology is made to mimic a real road running experience to reduce joint impact and provide extra cushioning.

There is no doubt that Bowflex is a great company. Their reputation in the fitness industry and years of great reviews have proven that. Based on specs alone, we feel that the Bowflex Treadmill 10 is a solid option for the average person looking to incorporate an in-home treadmill into their workout routine.
However, we are hesitant to strongly recommend their new treadmill launches without a little bit more time to see how popular they are among consumers. This is why for now we feel more confident recommending the highly rated Commercial 2450 from NordicTrack.

SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS TREADMILL – I love my treadmill! The only thing I wish it had was a USB charging port. The iFit program is fantastic. There are an awesome variety of programs to access for all levels of fitness that are greatly motivational.
NOT THE AVERAGE ‘DREADMILL’ – I am the first person to admit that ‘dreadmill’ running is horrible. Since the pandemic, I am now working from home. I love that I can run when I have a break. I really like having an indoor option to run during poor weather conditions. This treadmill is awesome. I really like the I-fit component. The treadmill automatically adjusts incline and pace. There are amazing places to run. The treadmill has a professionally quality to it. I would recommend it! The higher price tag is worth the quality of the product.
PRODUCT IS ABOVE AVERAGE, NOT EXCELLENT LIKE EXPECTED FOR PRICE – The treadmill functions great, iFit program is amazing. The problem I have is with the quality. The crossbar covers do not fit on correctly. We called Nordictrack to order new parts but the new parts fit worse than the old ones. The treadmill is still functional and works great but when I spend 2,200 on a treadmill I expect all the parts to fit seamlessly together and the quality to be outstanding.
OBSESSED – I am so happy I splurged on this machine. I have been using it every day, numerous times since I got it a month ago. I’ve logged in 164 miles, and 35 hours. The programs are fantastic.
