Great for Interval Training
The ProForm Sport 6.0 features iFit Ready Capability, a Round Watts LED Display, a 20×60″ running surface, and 10% Digital Quick Incline. The extra long 60″ running surface is perfect for taller individuals who feel cramped on the more typical 55″ deck length.
The ProForm Sport 6.0 is offered by Icon, which is the same company that produces NordicTrack and LifeSpan. All of these machines offer the iFit technology which helps you spice up your daily running routine.
This is one model in the Sport line-up that has previously been recognized as a “Best Buy” by a prominent consumer magazine. They gave it an “Excellent” for ergonomics and “Very Good” for construction, ease of use and exercise range. Very impressive for a budget treadmill.
MID-WEEK SALE ENDS THURSDAY: The ProForm Sport 6.0 is ON SALE for $999. This machine comes with No Interest for 6 to 12 months pending approval, Free Shipping, and a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee!

20″x 60″ Treadbelt — This machine features a lengthy 60″ deck that is great for taller individuals.
Round Watts LED Display – Have you ever wondered if your workout was worth the effort? The Round Watts LED Display allows you to see in real time your power output while you run. It will show if you are in the “Endurance, Tempo, or Peak” zone. If you want to focus on interval training, hit the Work button to kick it into high gear and then press the Recover button to slow down.
SpaceSaver Design- This treadmill folds up for easy storage. It has EasyLift Assist so you won’t break your back trying to raise the running deck.
iFit Ready — Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run through the streets of Rome? This technology allows you to download a Google Maps route or create your own. The deck of the treadmill will raise and lower automatically to match the real-life terrain. Track your progress on a connected smart device. You can manage your iFit account online to track your progress towards fitness goals. The only disadvantage to iFit is that it does require an additional cost for a monthly subscription.
Integrated Tablet Holder – This device shelf provides a safe and secure place to rest your tablet while you work out.
ProShox Cushioning – Cushioning is preset throughout the deck area to protect your joints while you work out. ProForm states that a comfortable run is their “No. 1 goal.”
2.5 CP Mach Z Commercial Plus Motor — This motor comes with only a 25 year warranty. The machines we recommend typically have a lifetime warranty on the motor, so this is a bit disappointing. The warranty is often a reflection of the quality of the component. If you are looking for a better option, check out the ProForm Power 995i with a 3.0 CHP motor and Lifetime warranty.
Speakers with iPod/MP3 Input — ProForm has some of the best sound systems built into fitness equipment. It won’t match your home entertainment system, but it’s pretty good!
20 Workout Programs — The ProForm Sport 6.0 has 20 preset workout programs designed by certified professional instructors. These workouts help relieve some of the monotony common with treadmill workouts.
Warranty — The Sport 6.0 comes with a lifetime frame, 25 year motor, 1 years parts, and 1 year labor. This is actually a lower warranty than some other models from ProForm.
This model is certainly a fine choice, but we would actually recommend the ProForm Power 995i instead. It has a better warranty including a lifetime warranty on the motor. They are a similar price and the Power 995i also has larger motor.
The best thing about these machines is that they BOTH feature that extra long 60″ running surface. Plus, you can enjoy the benefits of the iFit Live technology. To see all ProForm treadmill options, check out this comparison chart.
