For around $200 you are getting a treadmill built for only occasional light use. But Weslo treadmills are very popular for people who don't want to dish out alot of money for a potential clothes hanger. The Weslo C22 has a very narrow and short belt. If you are over 5'6" you may want to consider a model with a longer belt. The 1.0 hp motor is the smallest in the industry.

This is a Icon treadmill, which also builds Image, Proform, Reebok and Nordic Track. We may suggest you check out the Image 16.0Q. It is a bit more, but tends to be rated the best of the budget treadmills.

What is scary is that Weslo sell tons of these treadmills. You have to wonder about a treadmill where the shipping cost is almost 1/3 of the total price. This is not a quality treadmill. It has a tinyl walking area. This is more a toy then a serious treadmill. It is not built to last.

We believe if you want quality you should start at about $1,000. The warranty often reflects the quality of the treadmill. For a good walking treadmill check out the Nordictrack A2350. It comes with 10 year motor warranty and 1 year service.

If you are sold on Weslo we highly recommend that you get an extended warranty.
