The smooth 9.35 HR Treadmill has some appealing features, and is a rock solid machine. I tested it when I was their corporate offices and was very impressed. Their treadmills just get better and better. They aren't the cheapest models out there, but they are some of the best built.

There are two features that are noteworthy about the Smooth 9.35 HR treadmill...

Hydra SuspensionT System — You can actually adjust the shock absorption of the deck. Depending on your weight, style of exercising and condition of your joints, having the ability to increase or decrease the impact can be very attractive. The Hydra Suspension system allows you to change the absorption to 12 different levels.

Motion Control — I have always like this feature. It is particularly attractive to runners. By the wave of your hand over the sidebars, you can decrease or increase the speed. Normally you have to adjust speed through the console. As your running, you have to be off balanced to make changes. With the Motion Control feature, you do not loose your stride as you adjust the speed. This is particularly appealing if you are interval training.

Overall, the Smooth 9.35 HR treadmill appears to be a solid running machine. All Smooth treadmills are equipment with quality motors. You can expect the 3.0 continuous duty HP motor to run effortlessly at high speeds, and to be relatively quiet.

It comes with wireless heart rate control, which is ideal for optimizing your workout. The console has a "smart" design, providing five windows for sumultaneous data readouts. There is also a graphic image that tracks your progression for the quarter mile.

One last comment is the overall design. I feel this is one of the more attractive treadmills on the market. With the rounded trim and smooth lines, it stands out from the pack of generic looking machines.

This is a sweet treadmill, and when it is selling for $1,999, it is a TOP consider. If selling for more you can either wait till it goes back on sale or consider my other "Best Buy" recommendations.

One last note, The 9.35HR weighs a hefty 290 lbs. The good news is no matter how hard you are running it will feel solid and stable. The bad news is it is a bitch to move. You probably want to consider the indoor shipping option.
