How iFit Live Works!

Customized Workout Routines — When you first sign-up you go to iFit.com and fill out your profile, set up your goals and pick your personal trainer, like Jillian Michaels.  You can put in as much information as you want.  For example, you can define goals like how much weight you want to lose or how fast you want to lose it. 

It will then customize workouts just for you and download them onto your treadmill.  These customized workouts will control the speed and incline of your treadmill, or the level of resistance of your elliptical trainer.  The workouts include motivational audio coaching by trainers like Ms. Michaels.

As you workout iFit Live will track how you are progressing and record it to your iFit.com account.  The workout you get the next day will depend on your progress from the previous day.  It is totally dynamic and customizable.  (Note: A Wi-Fi connections is required.)

Additional features include a nutrition and activity tracker, food plans, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos available for download to your computer.

Google Maps

You can plug-in any trail or road that is available on Google Maps and it will simulate the terrain.  For example, you could follow the same route as the Boston Marathon or run the Great Wall China and your treadmill will simulate the inclines (Ellipticals simulate by resistance). It will also map it out and you can follow your progress by either a street, map or satellite view on Google Maps.

To utilize the Google Maps feature of iFit Live you need either a laptop or a smart phone.  There are slots on most iFit Live compatible machines for placing your laptop on the console.
