I bought the Pro-Form Perspective ES TV Treadmill. I shopped around a long time before I decided on this machine. I was not disappointed in my selection. I am very pleased with it.Itsatisfies all my exercise needs.

I have owned ths treadmill for about 8 years. I have used it a mderate amount of time. It is a great piece of equipmant for the price. I do not jog on it but for walking it is great. NEVER had any problem with it at all. I love the space saver deck that fold up. Very nice feature. Cant beat it for the price.

I have had my Nordictrack Treadmill C255 for approx. 1 year and it has approx. 800 Miles of use. It has been hard to use the machine lately due to the belt shifting back and forward. It least that's how it feels. I attempted to tighten the screws in the rear and still no good. Joe

Thank you Fred for this great article. I would just run on my treadmill also and feel like I am stuck in a rut. For the past week I have been doing a fast walk on incline mixed with some running. The calorie counter shot up and I sweat a lot more. Your article gave me encouragement that this will work.

I agree that an extended warranty is a good idea - I don't usually pay for them on anything because they add so much to the purchase price but for treadmils they are a good idea. Repairs are pretty costly as it is usually the motor which goes - the most expensive part of course - and they do break down a lot - that's why the warranty on many treadmills is so short.
